In an attempt to help Gabe understand what's going on with the baby, we bought a book called "I'm a Big Brother." The entire book basically talks about how baby brother is too small to play and all he does is cry, eat and sleep. At the end of the book, baby brother finally interacts with Big Brother by taking a train away from him. Big brother says, "Mommy make him stop!" And mommy explains that baby brother is trying to say, "I'm ready to play now." Well all Gabe has taken away from the book is that baby brother takes away choo choo. Anytime we mention baby brother, Gabe says, "babe bother take Dabe choo choo?"
It's funny except I need a book that puts baby brother in a more positive light. :)
