Hello everyone!!I wanted to send out the official note since there are some addressed on the email that Casey and I have not yet spoken to. As most of you know, Casey and I have been going through an IVF cycle these past 2 months. Saturday we received very good news...we are pregnant! Thank you for all of your encouraging words and most of all for your prayers. We really count ourselves very blessed to have such wonderful friends! Please continue to pray for a very healthy pregnancy! The next several weeks are very important. Love,Angie

I have super-fantastic news!! Casey and I are pregnant! We took blood test on Saturday....the beta number was 287 (avg 50-100). They said this indicates there might be more than one.

Thanks for your prayers. God answered!!!

December 2000

We moved from Streamwood to Downtown Chicago. Wow! Downtown living is exciting!!! It's the dead of winter in Chicago...can you say miserable moving conditions. We moved from a 1100 sq ft. townhome to a 650 sq ft. walkup on Diversey. 438 West Diversey # 3B to be exact. :) We had to get rid of half of the stuff we owned because we didn't have room for it all in our teeny tiny apartment. Harpo and Macy (our kitty cats) have now moved 2 times in their short lives.

1999

In April, Casey moved to Chicago (Schaumburg) to work for Motorola.
May 29th Casey and I were married. We spent 7 days in Playa Del Carmen for our honeymoon and then flew to Chicago. We had a layover in Dallas on our way to Chicago from Mexico. My dad and Casey's mom met us at the airport to bring us wedding gifts and say goodbye. We were off to live in a new city after living in Fort Worth our whole lives (except for my short stint in Nacogdoches while attending SFA).

It was hard moving to a new city where we didn't know a soul. I missed my church home, Richland Hills and was hungry for the word. I listened to Christian radio everyday. One day I was listening to Family Life today and the guest was talking about how she had begun praying for her children right after she was married. I thought, "What a great IDEA!" She said she had began praying for twins. I thought this was also a great idea. I truly felt that God had placed on my heart to pray for twins, so I did.

Recipe - Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas

Recipe - Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas

This recipe and it is great for Chicken Fajitas, Chicken Tacos, Taco Salad, you name it. It is perfect as leftovers because it just gets better the next day.

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker. Sprinkle a package of McCormick Taco seasoning over it. Add a small can of chicken broth and a cup of your favorite salsa. Put slow cooker on low setting and let it cook all day. At least 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken and return to sauce and mix.
